It's not better than opus, but it reflects more on what to do and asks more questions if the instructions are unclear (instead of producing slop). Also cheaper than sonnet 4

I think it's better than Opus for the reasons you just mentioned. It knows when to say no, huge upgrade imo.

GPT-5 is absolute dog shit at reasoning, analysis, continuity, thoroughness. Worse than a 12 year old child in every regard. I guess they went all in on coding lol
