Verify F-Droid.apk on Android
1. Install Termux (from GitHub)
2. Give Termux file access by typing termux-setup-storage in Termux, and select "Allow"
3. Update Termux by typing
apt-get update && apt full-upgrade -y
4. Type
apt install gnupg
5. Type
apt install wget
6. Type this & tap "Allow"
termux-setup-storage
7. Change to Download folder by typing
cd /sdcard/Download/
8. Download the F-Droid APK & save it in the Download folder by typing this in Termux
wget https://f-droid.org/F-Droid.apk
9. Download the F-Droid PGP Signature .asc file from https://f-droid.org and save it in the Download folder using a web browser, or by typing this in Termux
wget https://f-droid.org/F-Droid.apk.asc
10. Type this in Termux to verify the F-Droid.apk file signature
gpg --keyserver-options auto-key-retrieve --verify F-Droid.apk.asc
11. You should see the Good signature from "F-Droid admin@f-droid.org" message verifying the file signature is good.
