I prefer "evaporative cooler" to AC too, as
call it "water cooler" in farsi . Lol.
It's better for our dry climate.

i remember the ahwaz summer heat with no AC. it wasn’t all that bad as long as you weren’t outside
Nowadays Ahwas feels like hell, hot, dry, dusty, smoky, sometimes without water or electricity.
Pluted air, harsh weather and poor utility service makes it unbearable.
