Had a realtor say that they always recommend home ownership over renting. Of course you do.

However, if you do the math, home ownership usually costs more than renting especially with higher end homes. Now with Bitcoin, you could rent, save the difference, and would probably come out ahead.

Also, calling a home and investment is bullshit. It's a durable consumer good and a liability.

Until you get evicted for some dumb reason and can't build a real home for you and yours.

Sure, renting can have some advantages, but often renting in many areas is more expensive than paying a mortgage.

Definitely not the case for me currently. Looked into buying a house and it would be significantly more than rent in the area I live. I get why people do it though, especially if you plan on staying somewhere long term.
