They’re too slow with invites imo and they need topics but they’re a nice bunch. #Bluesky is one of the refuges for your average person who leaves Twitter. I don’t quite understand the protocol aspect just yet because they seem like a platform besides the handle situation

I’d give it a try, but I don’t remember if I requested an invite. Pretty satisfied with Nostr, so I don’t really have a need to go their at the moment.
