Blocking spam is the reason Adam Back created Hashcash, a forerunner to #bitcoin, thus it’s perfectly acceptable to block spam transactions. nostr:note17g0efeag6gs486mjdsylgpar3f87u0s94u4s5svu8rfr6xa9rnksthda3t

Bitcoin's intended use is money.

Ordinals are off-label use.

Don't poop in my pool and call it LiBeRtAriAniSm.

They don't understand Libertarianism correctly😅

I’m a noderunner. That doesn’t mean I’m also a fucking hosting service for cartoon gorillas.

1. Ordinals *is* spam.

2. Miners should be able to disrespect ordinals.

3. Mining pool operators should deligate this decision (and others) to miners individually unless #Bitcoin Core itself determines to filter out the usage authoritatively for all.

Yes exactly.

The "spammers" are paying exorbitant fees to those securing the network. They will find out eventually when they run out of money. Spam is a subjective term anyway. So is value...
