You underestimate how much German politicians hate the Germans.
Oh no i don't. I watch them close enough the last two years. I can think of various examples but the "i don't care what my voters think" example is appropriate. The funny part is that german polititians are no different than politicians in other countries (Baerbock might be more stupid though 😀)
