Marli is from the Netherlands. This is her first time traveling to Thailand. She started her journey in Chiang Mai, and for whatever reason, she decided to fly from Chiang Mai to Khon Kaen and hire a taxi to come talk to me in Huai Phueng. I thought it was absolutely crazy. But after reflecting on it, I realized that what I’m doing is just as crazy—because very few people would do it.
