They've always been lame because the algorithims hide certain people, force you to pay to view more or chat. From the beginning dating sites have been made to make profit not be a real social site. Which is why all of them are lame so yea people prefer going out but the ratios almost 50/50.

I tried them for a while and it sucked. As soon as I stopped looking I found my person. I trust whatever we go to is better than the old.
