So, it's my first time brewing a hoppy beer and I've decided to go with cascade and mosaic hops, munich malt, granny smith apples, and pineapple for my new experiment. Does anyone have any suggestions for yeast, though? #Brewing #homebrewing #asknostr

Something pretty experimental. But I didn't even start, yet. The past two weeks have been pretty busy. Luckily, I have decided what yeast I'm going with, though: SafBrew BR-8

I am not an ipa drinker because its usually in the back of peoples fridges. Although I must say the pineapple and apple intrigue me. How did you arrive at your choice of yeast seeing as there was no nostr help

I did a lot of research on yeasts and given that I want to try something unique, I wanted something that balances bitter and fruity flavors. Also, this is the perfect time of year to use a yeast that ferments relatively quickly at these temperatures.
