Maybe we’ll do some 606 surf haus 😎

What is 606 surf house?

It’s has pretty cool snares used in 80s rock music.

Oh sorry, the 606 is an analog drum machine: the Roland TR-606

I’ve had a 909 but sold it a few years ago.

It has some hardness to it, with layers of noise added on. Why’d you sell it? Do you play?

Yeah it’s really hard haha. The 808 is more groovy. I did play, but because of work (also in audio) didn’t have enough time / energy left for it and decided to find other hobbies.

When I sold it it was 4x the price I payed. However in the meantime it’s risen in price even more haha. Wish I’d put the money in BTC then. Never too old to learn

Nice answer. Just zapped you ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️ Would love to hear more about the audio projects you work on via DM. You’re so right about the 808, it’s definitely an industry standard - I’m on the Mars one.

Wow thanks! Will send a DM

That sounds very good!
