Well, I found out yesterday that a 2800$ from HP Canada was charged on my credit card. I always use paypass and my wallet has RFID shielding.

I have no idea where it was picked up, maybe online. Anyways, I called the CC company and they removed the charge, cancelled my card and sent me a new card by snail mail...

#bitcoin and lightning would have prevented this fraud...

Yeah. Also one tip: do you know about framework laptops? They are pretty amazing.

There’s a stupid amount of fraud in the crypto space too so this doesn’t really track. The only difference is that you were able to get your money back, which you can’t do with bitcoin.

The point I was making is that I have a solid OPSEC with my bitcoin wallets using layers of defensives measures. I would not have seen that transaction appear in my bitcoin wallet in a bitcoin standard world.
