I guess Bitcoin is kind of like a tragedy of the commons reversed for most people. There would be this huge benefit to all that is good in the world if it was the global currency, but to adopt it now is either a minor or major inconvencience for the individual depending on how much the State doesn't want you to use it. And so there is underground social pressure by anons, early adopters or a few Julian Assange justice at all costs types, to get you to try to adopt it. But the State knows this will take forever. Let's see if Trump/Republicans win and are actually pro crypto
