Replying to Running Man

Corso antics; trivial note about my pooch.

Today is a vegetable puree day for the pooch. It's the only way she'll eat her veggies. Starving and blended.

Some might ask, why make her eat rabbit food if what she wants is raw bloody meat Running Man?! Just give her the freaking meat!

Well, her diet is 98% raw meat (slightly frozen to clean the teeth when she chews).

I force the veggies on her for 2 reasons.

1-her breeder (a 20 year veteran of the breed) recommended it. She needs to have some fiber in her diet to keep the digestive system clear of gut gunk.

2-If she doesn't get fiber once or twice a week, she'll eat grass. Nothing wrong with that in my yard. But bad habit in general, because some people treat their lawn which can be poisonous and some grass....well you don't know what's on it. So, eating wild grass is a bad habit for those reasons.

All that to get to the point of this note.

On veggie days I feed her much later then usual so that she's really hungry. The longer I make her wait for her food, the more likely she'll gobble the veggies in a reasonable amount of time. Then once that's done I feed her what she really wants.

Right now, she's giving me that look, like "dude, why you being mean, you know what time it is. This is canine abuse."

So I'm getting the cold shoulder for another hour or so.
