I'm not against AI coding like begging today. But this note, specially the last part, can only have 2 reasons:

1. Super low understanding of software development and engineering.

2. Making some hype for what they are building.

Anyway, that's not the best thing you can say. At least at the moment.

I would say AI makes it easier to rewrite, so in more situations a rewrite makes sense. But doing it on a regular basis instead of fixing problems incrementally is a no go

Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying.

Imagine Linus Torvalds removing whole Linux project and asking a LLM to rewrite the thing again from scratch just because of a couple of bugs or features. 🤣

Not everything is a simple webpage...

LLM will be able to code more complex things and the current issue of maintenance will be fixed by improving them. Not by asking them to repeat the shit 10000 times.

If you can't work on LLMs to fix the issue in the right way, don't justify your project limitations like that. Juat wait for it to be fixed.
