MSTR is a leveraged bitcoin proxy. They’re not mutually exclusive. One can hold bitcoin in cold storage and own stonks.
MSTR generally outperforms bitcoin, but brings with it risk. Depending on your risk profile, it can help or hurt.
Retirement account is locked-in until I retire. In it I can hold MSTR and BTC ETFs, for which I am very grateful. I also stack bitcoin to my cold storage wallet, despite having to pay full tax on that income.

It was undervalued compared to how much bitcoin you had a share of or something like that. Probs easier for some also as it is basically an etf in effect.
Bought some in a 401k account. Just didn't sell it when the ETFs became available.
