when it comes to walking and hiking, i think most people get a richer sensory experience from it than i do.
i've taken walks with people who will spot the smallest little thing in the corner of their eye that i completely failed to notice.
or people who will very actively explore streets and take detours when they're out walking.
compared to me, a lot of people are like dogs, constantly taking in the environment and exploring it.
in the Myers-Briggs type system, this is the most common type of person, and they're very sensuous people who get immersed in experiences. the S type.
i'm the N type. i get richer experiences inside of my own head than outside of it. i'm not always so good at paying attention to my environment. i'm better at noticing how things fit together and what's underneath them. and then i don't need the stimulus anymore. it loves on in my vivid imagination.
