I've had this vague vision of a new way to explore music & lyrics for a number of years. I always remember sitting at my desk-job in Boston in 2016 and, out of the blue, this strong intuition just hit me that I needed to make something related to lyrics. I didn't know how to build it then, or even what that idea fully was - but it always stayed with me. It was an uncanny feeling at time. And it stayed with me for years untouched. I've since learned the value of following gut feelings and non-obvious ideas. This vision is still unclear, but I want to explore and see what emerges. Nostr helped me connect the dots, and I now realise it is the only place this idea could ever be built and explored - what a strange serendipity. 🌌💜

I want stargazr.xyz to be like genius.com - but way better. Nostr makes it all happen: zaps for value4value, social effects for fans & artists, highlights and comment functionality already built-in, ownership & independence for artists.

Getting into the culture is a way to purple-pill the masses. I imagine a scenario where somebody joins stargazr for their favourite artists lyrics, realises there are other great clients for different things, and falls down the purple rabbit-hole, along with all their friends 🤩 Let's see 😁
