What’s the status on Linux for apple silicon chips? Anything interesting other than Asahi?

Why do you want something other than Asahi?
I'm not involved yet, just window shopping my next desktop. Wondering if there is something I don't know that would impact my thinking.
I remember there were few other teams tackling this and possibly enabling full linux kernel support which should allow running any distro possible. Asahi is good but more is better
Gotcha. I thought maybe there was a specific Asahi bug or missing software issue that has you looking. I agree that more teams and more eyes will improve support.
Hopefully Oryon will be fast and open and solve this problem from the other side.
