Yeah those tabs get so brittle after some time and I break out the electric tape lol

I have yet to break one so much it wouldn't lock back on, but have seen a hack with a zip tie to lock it in place when the red and black clips get broken off.
Nice, I could see how that would work yeah. I think they mainly only break off when people try to force them rather than do what you were showing.
