Maybe it was bad timing, but yesterday in global I saw a lot of AI generated images in one “illegal” / morally awful subject area. I won’t say more on that, but I did wipe my client’s local cache 😩

I had mostly gone back to Twitter for a few months, but prior to that I used to enjoy the weirdness of global.

Now I’m fully back here but I’m afraid to open global. How can we improve image filtering at the client or file storage level, without going back to a fully centralized model? nostr:note14hxvx66xmue6yskk6upssn7tul25f02ps9a6ak6653rvlnct7e0q0ehd02

YEAH, I RECENTLY DID A SIMILAR QUICK SCROLL OF GLOBAL PUBLIC FEED HORRORS WHERE AFTERWARDS I WAS ACTUALLY WORRIED ABOUT THE CONTENT THAT WAS NOW PROVABLY TRACEABLE AS BEING DOWNLOADED AND VIEWED ON MY PHONE. NOT SURE HOW THIS IS TENABLE.
