Trade offs. Custody in exchange for Privacy, Modularity, Swaps, Offline spending and receiving, nostr control. Everything is a trade off of trust. If the breach of that trust is not accountable to an individual, it is third-party custody. It should be peer to peer trust or at least understood trust and trade offs so each person can make rational market actions (or inactions).

When you say "nostr control", what do you mean?
Fedimint guardians already sign transactions, why can’t they sign nostr messages?
Oh that's interesting. I'm ignorant of it so I'm asking. I reckon I haven't really delved into this, idk why I'd want multi sig nostr personally at this moment.
There doesn’t seem to be a reason for an individual to have multisig and nostr. But if you had an organization with a nostr account, multisig starts to make sense.
Yeah, but why organization with nostr? Like a business?
Nostr is a communication protocol. An organization can communicate with their members/customers using nostr.
Oh reeeeeeaaaallllyyyy????? 🧠 🧠 🧠 🧠
Maybe one day I'll check out this nostr. Sounds pretty impressive. Gee Wizz mister
You asked why an organization or business would use nostr. 🤷♂️ or maybe I misunderstood the question?
Never apologize to something like me!
I was only trying to pick your brain. I don't fedi, but I'm like what is Gary's thought process on this. Why?
Fedimint*** Fedi is a company.
It’s a scaling and privacy solution. Just another tool in the freedom toolbox. And since it already does collaborative signing, you can talk to your “bank” over nostr and be authenticated with npubs.
