They thought the idea was great, but didn't want to invest in it because they wouldn't he able to use it for gambling.
They explained to me that all sports date analytics companies are now pseudo gambling analytics companies.
Yup. In my opinion the data driven aspects have ruined pro sports.
I like local HS or college hockey games 100% more than the NHL now.
Same with football etc.
They want sports to be like video games & remove the human element.
The last coach I worked under, in Jr hockey, was huge into analytics. He relied on it way too much, that it clouded his judgement.
True everywhere. Over analytics. iPads on benches after every shift. Hate it.
