Hi!
I've attached screenshots of embedded links from iris.to snort.social, and one from Twitter as a comparison.
As you can see, embeds from Iris and Snort show many UI elements that are not necessary since the goal is just to display the content of a specific Nostr note in a Notion page.
Here is a link of how embedding works in Notion.
https://www.notion.so/help/embed-and-connect-other-apps
There is a growing set of supported app, that results in very clean and nice widgets. Any web page may be embedded just entering its URL, but usually (as for Nostr notes) the results are suboptimal.
Many thanks!

Notion auto-converts tweet into Twitter embed widget. With nostr clients it embeds the page itself using an iframe and allows you to adjust the size of frame (those dark corners) - wouldn't adjusting the size to hide UI elements work for you?

Yes, correct. However, resizing just moves UI elements around. Good enough for personal use, but not for public pages where the embed/widget should do a better job presenting the note content only, without scrolling iframes, replies underneath, etc.
Ok, so I made a special embed-link for Notion and other iframes, try selecting Embed under a post or a profile on nostr.band - there is now a second box with an 'embed link for Notion', try to use that one, please.
Wow, thanks!
Much, much better!
There is only one major glitch: a lot of white space before or after the note.
My guess is that this is caused by the removal of notes preceding or following the actual note to be displayed.

Could you please try again? Try with a different note, it's heavily cached by Notion
Now it works perfectly! No more white space before or after the note.
Font size is probably too big. :)
Thanks! 🙏
