When giving too much hurts

Some say generosity is always a virtue. I’m not so sure.

I grew up with a lot of lack. So when I got the chance, I gave. Gave a lot. Gave always. I just didn’t want anyone else to go through what I did.

That made me the ultimate ally the one who's always there, who helps, who never says no.

But here’s the flip side. When you give too much, you start going blind. You stop seeing who’s real and who’s just there to take.

And yeah… I’ve been naive sometimes. The one who gives even when it’s clearly a bad idea.

It’s not just kindness. It’s like a compulsion. I have to do something for others. Always.

Some people took advantage of that. But you know what? I'd still do it all over again. Because the good always outweighs the bad.
