Almost produced as much energy as me wearing socks dragging my feet on the rug and touching the dogs tail. Not quite but if you scale it up to the size of a skyscraper you could really give someone a heck of a shock.
But for every action, there is a equal and opposite reaction. I would hypothesize that this slows the earth's rotation. That will have unintended consequences, just like wind turbines slowing the wind and changing rain patterns.
