Speculating here, but the same reason all the nuclear war hype. Nobody knows a lot about radioactivity so when they hear somebody say the r word, they get nervous. Same reason why GE, iirc, funded a bunch of fud about nuclear reactor. It competes with their business model.. unless everyone is terrified of it of course.

I thought that they will happily sacrifise some people in order to train the population to the idea of nuclear losses and to create consent for risky attack moves, because we all know who arebthe candidates to blame.

Not to mention masse trauma like the rumors around 9/11. But I agree completely. Their thirst for power knows no moral bounds. Especially when it looks a WHOLE LOT like depopulation is the end goal anyway.

Lower population=less resistance.

I still think this has more to do with the federal reserve than the elected officials. They have a long history of hiring armies to invade non compliant states.
