At that same music event I ended up talking to a Ukrainian soldier on leave (yes, they get at least 30 days/year of holiday they're required to take). He had been working 20 hour days near the front lines refurbishing drones to help his comrades kill Russians, and had tears in his eyes when he told me how thankful he is to see foreigners like myself in Ukraine.
