First thing that comes to mind was that he was among the very few American artist who stood on defiance of Parental Advisory labeling for music in USA. He testified on Capitol Hill, internet footage abound. There's lots more about him, such as his significance in Eastern Europe because of his support during the liberation of states in the region in the 90s, and how they loved his music of freedom and expressiveness, and wild, wild guitar!
