What makes us go from one order to the next? Is it just time? Or also the people around us (physically or virtually) with whom we can discuss ₿?

I skipped 1 and 3, and now sit somewhere between 2 and 4, but yeah I agree that these are all possible steps. However, not only does everyone have a different journey, we all start from different places, so you have to accept that different people will understand Bitcoin differently.
