Just been out to tha #apariy to check on the girls.

I did a vertical split 3 weeks ago, that colony seems to be ok, i'll go in and check for a laying queen next week.

However the parent colony appears to be #queen less. I saw her after the split so she may have swarmed anyway, and at the last inspection i saw a few queen cels which i knocked off and there was uncapped brood.

No sigin of any brood this inspection so im 80% sure its queen less 😪

So the plan is next inspection, check the split colony and if there is a laying queen in there transfer a frame of eggs/brood back to the parent colony and let them raise a new queen.

Be a beekeeper they said, it'll be fun they said 🤣🤣
