My lightning node was down for weeks and I didn't notice because I had monitors on everything except the lnd process 😞

Sadly, no clue as to why it crashed.

So is it on clearnet now? Any suggestions for the toe alternatives? I suspect it causes some payment failures.

I haven’t followed it closely but apparently Tor folks recently implemented a change that prevents the DoS attack the network has been under.

The Tor project added proof of work based ddos protection from 0.4.8 version. I find Tor recently more stable except the French exits as they seem to block Nostr relays and certain sites. Can other lightning operators confirm problems with Tor after the recent change?

Didn't they get infiltrated by some of those three letter agencies. When #Tor found an excuse to boot out one of their top programmers.

Look into indranet or cloakednet. They look interesting but are still alpha.
