I don’t know man, you can’t underestimate the right winger/traditionally minded man’s desire to love his country and jump at the flimsiest excuse to start supporting it again. I hate America as it is today with every part of my logical self but I still well up on July 4th Sunday when the whole congregation is singing My Country Tis of Thee. If I wasn’t JQ aware I’d probably start to believe america could be reformed if the powers that be fed me enough copes, and I bet you would too.
