In 1860 the British and the French desecrated the Old Summer Palace as a response to the torture of a delegation of Europeans (during the 'century of humiliation'). These same imperialist powers also looted Chi na for decades. This happened 100 years prior to the cultural revolution. Lets not act like these motherfuckers are benevolent.
