also, healthy communication between parent and child matters. there’s porn in all of the internet, getting rid of it or avoiding it is not as achievable as teaching children why they don’t need to seek it

Blocking all these accounts is impossible. And you wouldn't necessarily have to be looking for anything to see it. And it really isn't just a matter of some nudes or porn. Depends on how you use nostr. Really this is mostly a Global issue and maybe a relay thing.

I *suspect* that there could be some people who may be slightly naive about some of the content/users on nostr. You could get the impression that it is just a bunch of Bitcoiners having a laugh (it mostly is), when there is some pretty grim stuff out there.

I'm not saying the person who mentioned this is like this, cos I have no idea, nor you. I'm just saying it's a possible scenario

I really hope people are aware of the problem. It's like you should as an experiment, add a load of relays and only use Global for a week. Then see if you still have the same opinion.

Not that I would recommend doing this.

I knew I shouldn't have made this post lol. I managed to piss off the person who brought up the subject despite not replying to them lol. It was meant to be a more general thing and not about them. Oh well.
