Duh. I didn’t post the beehives we happened upon later.

Last night on Italian TV, a beekeeper with hives similar to ours was interviewed. This morning at our hotel, there was a frame of honeycomb provided by an unknown *local beekeeper, for cutting comb to eat alone, or on toast. As we drive through the coastal hills on our way out of town, we saw probably the same beehives, and, likely the honeycomb’s derivation, from TV the night before.
Takeaway? God has a sense of symmetry, which guides you if you have eyes to see, and ears to hear.
*we couldn’t figure out the English translation thingy on the remote, so…

The colors are beautiful!!! Mine were always monotone and boarding by comparison 🐝
I am a color nut, and nostr:npub1uense4apn73tvh4u20tzlp6u72g4kdustzsm0k0sqy6yuwh5jxlsy97y76 indulged me. One of our mentors always spray painted his hives silver, thinking it kept the bees cooler. Beekeeping is never boring. Thank you for doing this service to our pollinators.
Hey. I'm looking into starting some hives next spring. Any resources you can recommend to a fairly new beekeeeper? (I've kept two hives going for 3 years in the past, but it was only luck.)
