#asknostr My understanding is that #BOLT12 supports re-usable #bitcoin #lightning invoices. Can I make these with #zeus wallet? If I send the invoice to a #cashapp user, can they plug it into their app and send with it? Anybody able to test this? I would love to not make a separate invoice every time. #lightningnetwork

Zeus app can only use Bolt12 if you connect it to CLN or Phoenix server. It doesn't work with LND yet because LND haven't implemented it yet. ☹️
Bolt12 is new and very few apps have full support. I'd guess that cash app doesn't support it yet.
I wouldn't be surprised if it takes a couple of years until everyone can use Bolt12 in most apps.

- If a wallet supports classic pre-BOLT12 invoices, can it make a payment to a re-usable invoice?
- In terms of connecting a zeus wallet to CLN, does having a channel open w/ Zeus do that or is this something seperate?
CLN is Core Lightning Network. It does the same job as LND. With some minor differences. For instance, it doesn't use channel backup files, it has the ability to do live backups of the channels database. So, if it fails, you don't have to do a force close of all your channels, you can recover them from the backup.
You can actually run CLN and LND on the same server and share a single instance of Bitcoin core between them. You can open channels between them and they'll show up in Zeus as two separate servers.
However if you're just using Zeus on your phone, Zeus inbuilt lightning wallet is LND only. There's no mobile version of CLN like there is for LND.
