The first Cashu NIPs have made it into the Nostr specifications!

* NIP-61 describes nutzaps, a new, instant way to zap users and events by posting ecash locked to their public key

Do any clients support nutzaps yet?
Can this work via the existing LN Address info in profiles or do profiles need expanding to better support nutzaps natively?

Don’t put your cold storage in it; that’s not what it’s for.
And you can symmetrically encrypt with a pass phrase so that a client needs your explicit authorization beyond access to your nsec
Ultimately, as in anything that frees individuals, is up to each person to choose how to use the tools.
Well obviously, but if people’s first touchpoint with bitcoin is getting rugged, that’s a bad experience. It’s important to explicitly detail the risks.
