Yah my cheap ass uses my self hosted ai to get slightly better translations if amethyst makes it literally say duck or something. Its usually Japanese that amethyst messes up on.

What model do you use for translations
Wizard Unlocked. Its both a fun and usefull ai LLM. It just really doesnt like translating stuff from english into other languages. I could use vic prob for better results.
