Build a paid relay. Only post your content to this relay. Require payment every month or you get booted. This seems too easy am I missing something?

I suspect this exact mechanism is what will bring normies here. I don’t know of any relays currently that require payment to read but that’s not difficult (I don’t think). I think more likely there will be paid image hosting that will only unblur the image with payment.
How easy would it be to re-post content outside the relay? You could set immediate ban on re-post to prevent. People wouldn't want to burn their subscription.
Yeah I don't know. I don't really know how relays work but was just an idea. I'm sure I'm missing a lot 😂
I think creating an interactive relay for these type of users would work well but paywalls are important to. The current model also has substantial leakage to various BBs. Remember http links are easily distributed.
The content would need to be encrypted to subscriber keys so that only they could view image. You could do this at the http level or create a Nostr micro service for distributing encrypted images.
