Good morning, yes its a good idea to have someone look at a metal roof ocasionally. Our roofer guy said about every 5 yrs is a good idea, and ours is about 15 yrs old. Luckily this leak was on the front porch, so not inside the house. And my dough this morning really expanded, so later today i'll be putting it in the loaf pan. If its even close to being as tasty as my friend's, i'll be happy.
