I asked Perplexity and we're definitely a cult.

- Authoritarian Leadership: We are harshly ruled by Nostr devs and memers.

- Control and Influence: People are coerced into only talking about Nostr and Bitcoin. All other topics are forbidden.

- Isolation: Members are influenced into deleting all social media, going nostr-only.

- Fear of Leaving: After learning about the properties of nostr, many members fear going back to other social media sites, even reporting negative experiences when they try.

- Exclusive Truth Claims: Nostr cult leaders make claims that Nostr is the future of the internet and force members to believe it as truth.

- Preoccupation with Recruitment and Money: Nostriches are obsessed with "purple-pilling" and "orange-pilling"

- Time Commitment: Members spend more and more time on the nostr as the rest of their life fades away, leaving only Nostr to fill the void.

- Life Outside the Group: the Nostr-only mentality means that a member's engagement with social media outside Nostr is highly diminished.
