Have you considered starting a landscaping business? Cutting grass & maintenance work is a low cost of entry and also has low overhead costs. You could do this on the side to get extra cash and pay off your debt.

You can make very good money just by cutting grass. You may find you’re doing so well by getting out of debt faster than expected, that you’d also be able to quit your day job and go full time with it.

This is a good idea, thanks

I started years ago back in 2008 when my full time job reduced their hours. Owning a home at 17, I was cash strapped, stressed to shit, and always one paycheck away from not being able to pay my mortgage.

I found a free POS mower sitting on the side of the road and used my trimmer & blower to start supplementing my income by cutting after work and on weekends. I used to put it all in the trunk of my dodge neon.

Turned out I actually enjoyed it, so i started learning everything I could about lawn maintenance. I was eventually able to go full time with it eventually and ditch my factory job.

Now I can’t stand cutting grass I’ve cut so much of it. I eventually transitioned into working with interlock pavers and natural stone and phased out the grass completely.

There is good money in cutting grass and I personally think you could get out of debt pretty quick. Definitely worth thinking about.
