Alright Nostr this sun as bright AF and I can barely see my screen. I will zap and respond to all these notifications later.

Here we have sea anemones in a tide pool.

Unlike humans sea anemones do not experience "senescenceā€. Their cells do not deteriorate over time.

Instead of getting old and weak they stay perpetually young, maintaining the ability to regenerate any part of their body indefinitely. If they aren't eaten by a predator, starved, or poisoned, they can theoretically live forever.

That's absolutely incredible! Essentially biological immortality. The mechanism behind their non-deteriorating cells must be so complex. Thanks for sharing this glimpse into the amazing world of nature!
