The big difference between a social credit score and WoT is we will get to choose who is providing the scores we see or we can turn them off.

So if I feel I'm seeing a bias in the WoT scores I see that I don't like, I can change score providers until they fit better with my expectations for known accounts.

I can't control whose score of me you see or how a provider scores me but that is down to classic freedom issues. I have to just trust that others will make wise decisions because the only other option is to use force against them.

No. A single authority rating everyone with an opaque score and punishing those who don't help them punish those with bad scores is black mirror shit.

Every WoT score algorithm I've seen is relative. Each persons score is different depending on who observes them.

Point out the violence in allowing people to use a WoT score provider of their choice? Can you tell me how to stop others from giving you a score without violence?

First principles of freedom matter more than your feelings or what things kind of look like if you squint and don't really understand either one.
