They have small areas you are meant to pull into but obviously if you just passed one your screwed which is why they are 3 times riskier than normal motorways which is part of reason they had to cancel building more of them.
They are not restoring them back to how they were though persumably because these places are so congested now because we imported a Liverpool's worth of people last year and a Southampton's worth of people the year before that. And those are just the people we know about, I think this is the most universally hated government I can recall in my lifetime.
Yes, by the time they finish a project it's already clogged with traffic. We had 18 years of population growth just from immigration in 2023, so we're 18 years behind in infrastructure. Good times.
