I still say there would be a lot less resistance from normies to self-custody if more self-custody solutions offered a Testnet option they could play with and learn from.

Anyone who can learn to drive a car can learn to self custody. Most people I know first learned how to drive a car in an empty parking lot; not on the Interstate.

I've never understood why this isn't common.

It think it's because it's very rare for developers to appreciate the value in building tools that they themselves wouldn't really benefit from. Regardless, it seems like a huge missed opportunity for the ecosystem as a whole to not make it an expected feature across the board.

Shout out to nostr:npub1hea99yd4xt5tjx8jmjvpfz2g5v7nurdqw7ydwst0ww6vw520prnq6fg9v2's Sparrow Wallet and nostr:npub1cvqlzvmjercdn0ypsmv8f7j9lge6ahsnueh5rparh53wuswftv4q49yjt3 for getting it right.

It’s called BAD UX —-as if there was NOT an entire field dedicated to user experience that they could tap into— call it the bubble of ignorance and ego — which is exactly why I quit UX design and started creating BTC ART instead 🤣😂

You can switch BULL Wallet into Testnet, if you wish.
