Sorghum, at the base of my banana tree I’ve cut the sorghum three or four times this season and it keeps growing back. It is a great producer of biomass and pretty hardy. I bet the soil underneath will do just fine.

Fire ants are all over the plant, it looks like they might be eating from it or taking from the plant. White scabs are showing from their action. #grownostr
