Attention nostr ham radio folks!

HAMSTR server is live on 40M, 7.060mhz on USB !

AFSK 300 baud in direwolf, tnc or other software modem.

Running an off center fed dipole on 40M, about 35feet off the ground, setup for more local to AZ and southwest USA, but am currently hearing Midwest with ease at night.

Will be on hopefully 24/7 for the next few days so I can test over the holiday weekend.

Give it a try!

Simply clone the repo, follow the instructions. Run the web_app.py file after building npm. Setup nostr nsec, callsign and other settings. Then test!

Anyone who connectd and uses HAMSTR will get a 500 sat zap! Post proof, I don't keep logs at all on the server.

Do you have a YouTube video showing how to set this up? I have JS8call set up and running on 40m NVIS but your directions above are not enough for me to follow to test this. I'm not a coder or computer whiz. Maybe this isn't for me but I'd like to help if possible. I'm using a xiegu g106 and a dedicated lap top and will be making it solar powered here shortly.

If you can run js8call, you should be able to run HAMSTR.

No installer or build yet, just python and command line to run.

Install python, install node.js, Clone the GitHub repo, build the npm app(instructions in readme), and run the python frontend. Everything else is GUI based.

No tutorials yet, sorry.

Your directions reference 3 or 4 things I've not done before. I think I'm gonna sit out a bit on this. Sorry. I really like what you are doing but I don't have the time to figure it out right now.
