Hypocrisy is a key feature of humans, much like greed or lust.
Systems have to be built around people as they are and what groups of them are doing, preferably not the other way around.

Well if the system is built around enough of a large subset of individuals could it theoretically just be hypocritical in nature? What makes anything different than fiat if a large enough group agree on the hypocrisy and allow it? Like a 51% attack just with mass bias.
